How to Transfer a Position in Schwab

In this guide, we'll learn how to transfer a position in Schwab efficiently. To initiate the transfer, navigate to the Move Money tab at the top of the page. From the drop-down menu, select Transfers and Payments, then choose Online Transfers. Here, you can specify whether you want to transfer cash, positions, or both. For this scenario, we will focus on transferring positions only. Select the account from the drop-down list that will be sending the position. Next, choose the receiving account and indicate the number of shares to transfer. Click Continue to review the details before submitting the transfer. Let's get started.

To transfer a position in Schwab, follow these steps: 1. Go to the Move Money tab at the top. 2. Select Transfers and Payments from the drop-down window. 3. Choose Online Transfers, located at the top of the page.

You can choose to transfer cash, positions, or both. In this case, we will transfer positions only.

You can select a drop-down menu that contains all your accounts.

After choosing the account for the position transfer, you will be presented with various options. You can then specify the number of shares you wish to transfer.
